Steps to Starting a Donation Drive

  • 1. Select a Location

Select a location where a lot of people in your community may visit or pass by regularly. We highly recommend reaching out to tutoring businesses, libraries, schools, community centers, local donation organizations, gyms, etc.

  • 2. Start Advertising!

Utilize creating flyers, setting up Instagram posts, posting on TikTok/X/GroupMe/Facebook/etc. Ask the place that is holding the donation drive to send the flyer PDF via email to reach as many people as possible! You can also put the flyers up in local communities, neighborhoods, or by sharing the news with your friends and family.

  • 3. Set up Dates for Donation

Plan a timeline for how long the donation drive will be held! We highly recommend doing at least 2-3 weeks in the same location. PLEASE go to the donation location regularly throughout the week to check for damage or any issues!
